The BIO-SWITCH is not suitable for flammable gases. It can be used with liqud gases for gaseous withdrawal only. The BIO-LARM remote model (Model MR) is suitable for flammable gases provided that the gas cylinder and the alarm sounding unit are separated by at least 25 feet.
